Possible deal gone bad?
OK, so after seeing that A&A was shutting down after march, I decided against my better judgment to order one last gun from them before they bit the dust. On January 28, I ordered a KJW M9 which they had in stock and paid via paypal. Since my paypal was wired to my bank account I already knew it would take a few days(5-10 days). Well, checking my paypal on the 10th of February, I noticed that the payment had cleared as expected. Interestingly, I never received an email from paypal telling me it cleared. Anyways, I emailed mark inquiring about the status of my order and he told me that "the payment hasn't cleared our account and when it does the order will be sent out". I've checked my paypal account today and there's no change... It still says the payment has cleared. I just shot off an email to mark and I dunno when he's gonna respond... Is this a possible deal gone bad? I'm not gonna speculate too much since it is kinda early but all this waiting is really pissing me off... I dunno but I suspect that there could be some sorta problem with paypal too...

It probably hasn't shown up in his account yet. Keep your pants on, Mark is a very reputable retailer in Canada, delays WILL happen, keep in mind this is a Holiday today in Alberta and we just had a weekend. Banks don't operate on weekends or holidays.

Paypal tells you when the payment has cleared your account and the sellers account. If both accounts are cleared then send him a screen shot of that. If he feeds you bullshit, put in a paypal claim.

Oh the benefits of using a credit card for instant payment and instant payment recevied by the seller.

I think it's a bit premature to be saying you got screwed, however, it's been almost 3 weeks since you made the payment...

I still don't understand why the payment cleared my account but not his... He's already left a bad taste in my mouth once so I'm a little more cautious now...

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your problem. Since your paypal is connected to your bank account is it possible for you to check with your bank and see from the bank's perspective if the money was sent to A&A?
It seems that it all comes down to getting proof if A&A has received your money and until then it's your word against A&A's. Either way good luck man, tell us how it goes! |

On my paypal i see clearly when the transaction has cleared on my side and the sellers side. He should be able to see it by doing the following:
Log on paypal. In [Account Activity (History)], click on [All Account Activity] This will show all your latest transactions, including the one with A&A. It will tell you what is cleared and what is not cleared. If you see that both sides has cleared it means he has your money. |

He trusted me big time and he hardly knew me. that right there says a lot. give it time, the guy is very profesional and wont screw you.

My dealings with Mark have been nothing but satisfactory... if there is a problem I'm sure he will let you know.
If the other Airsoft dealers were as easy to deal with as him I would be very happy... |
