JG Mp5 Navy Battery

Ok so my new mp5 navy came with an 8.4 1100 ma (no surprise). the battery was completely dead so i charged it for roughly 15 hours like it said and when I used it the next day I only got about 300 rounds before it died. The fps is claimed to be 400 at 11 bb's/s, so im wondering if they just send whatever little shit battery with the gun and not one that is actually going to be effective for the gun they sent you.

So basically what im wondering is if I should get a new bigger battery and if so, which one (without tearing the inside of my gun up of course). Thx

Might be something wrong with the battery. An 8.4V 1100mAh should be enough for a 400 FPS gun. My gun has a 400 FPS spring in it and I've used a 1500mAh 8.4V for a whole day (1200-1500 BB's) and it was still going.

does more mah mean more capacity (goes for longer) or is that the voltage?

Right, higher mah, higher battery capacity... rough rule o thumb is 1 shot per 1 mah.. Can vary with upgraded guns, ect.

lol then we clearly have an issue because 1100 mah =/= 300 shots

is this battery possible jg. i had mega problems with their stock battery. its ok just for playing around but i would strongly look into getting a new one at taking care of it it will last a lot longer.

Yeah dude toss the jg battery and get a good quality Intelect or Elite. Dont skimp on the batterys they are very important. Also you should replace that brick charger with a decent smart charger.

just stick with a 8.4 volt, if its a mini plug dont worry about to much MAH.
if its a large plug dont go over 3200 mah...

This is the elite battery I was talking about, pretty much the best 8.4v mini on the market, dont worry your gun will handle that no problem.
