CYMA M14 switching to carfuse?

So fellow M14 owners know that fitting the M14 wiring with the fuze holder is a bitch of an effort. I was wondering if anyone has ever converted it to use a car fuze instead of those tube fuzes?

I really want to do this but I have no idea if its going to Affect ROF and what the risks are

Fuse is a safety device. It is inserted into an electronics to protect the equipment, too much current flow through a wire, it may overheat and be damage the wiring or motor.

Yes use a fuse. My roommate over the winter break had all his wires fry on him and killed his battery. AEGs NEED a fuse, that's why it was put there.

To answer the OPs question, a car fuse will work as it is rated for > 12V as long as you get I suppose a 15 or 20A fuse.

It will NOT affect ROF if you use the correct one.

Fuses are good for AEGS, it never hurts to have that little extra bit of protection. Now after saying that, not one of my M4s has a fuse, and Ive never run into any issues at all. Im not recommending you do it just because I dont have problems though.

Yes it has one, my TM M14 OD has one as well, though I never had any issues with stuffing it back in the stock after disassembling the gun.
As long as you don't change the gears/spring/motor too radically the stock one will be excellent. Once you start getting into high powered springs and turbo motors, you'll need to up the current rating on the fuse.
