KJW M9 Vertec on Co2?

I have a M9 Vertec and was wondering if I could use the Co2 mag from a M9A1 or a HFC M190?

The vertec says its Okay for red gas I dont know if that helps.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Okay so it seems no one knows if this will work so I ask this
what do you think will happen if I try?

I think the gun is solid so I don't think it will break at least not if I try one mag at the crony and see what the fps difference is from propane I figure if it is near the same it would not be putting extra stress on the gun decreasing its life span.
opinions

I wouldn't lol
The KJW CO2 M9 comes with a reinforced loading nozzle for a reason, it also has a MUCH more significant recoil, sounds very close to a real firearm...
Anyway I tried to put a standard green gas mag from an HFC into the KJW and their incompatible, sorry I didn't have an KJW mags to check it out with but there's nothing different about them from other M9 mags, just a bigger plate on the bottom. The HFC mag clicked into the gun it just didn't fire.

So what if I put in a reinforced loading nozzle from a Co2 version?

Co2 mags dont work on gas guns because the hammer for CO2 guns are different.

A Co2 hammer is much stronger to push the Co2 valve open while greengas valves can be pressed easily.

Its worth a shot but it may not be strong enough to push the vavle open. And if it does it may damage the internals of the gun.

...just a warning. =)

I bought a KJW M9 co2 magazine from a store on e-bay. and tried it on my KJW M9 elite full metal vertec. The magazine fit the gun just fine but the first shot I fired blew up the back chamber of the loading nozzle. This is the chamber which fills with gas to push the slide back. After looking at the loading nozzle that I blew up, I think it may have worked ok if I had put a heavier spring in the front of the loading nozzle to keep the seal open longer and not send so much pressure into the blowback chamber. Anyone know where to get a new loading nozzle for a KJW M9?

just wanna share this Glock co2 magazine of mine.

aside of upgrading the unit w/ recoil spring, metal slide, hammer spring & etc.

i have here a modified KSC glock series magazine.

this is a Co2 magazine. inside is a disposable mini co2 gas tank with regulator and soft touch flow valve

it looks like this when you load it in your gun

co2 is a hi pressure gas.inorder to operate this in your gun smoothly.you have to regulate the gas flow. some co2 mags does not have a capability of regulating the gas flow so it end up of breaking the internals of your gun.
but this mag has a regulator inside. most likely the pressure is around 120-150psi.
