500 fps upgrade suggestions?

I am currently brainstorming a list of parts to upgrade my G&G M16 to handle a 500 fps set-up. I am doing this to turn my gun into a DMR (hopefully). So far this is what is on my list: (please add or suggest anything that you think would make a difference)

-King Arms 8mm reinforced gearbox
-obviously bushings and shims
-6.01 dees tightbore barrel
-systema magnum motor
-Prometheus triple torque gears
-Prometheus max torque piston(should I get half tooth or full)
-Custom MOSFET unit(I will only be using semi auto)
-I already have my hop-up taken care of and all external parts.

I would think a silent head set would help to soften the huge impact of the piston.
Also a reinforced (maybe aluminum) spring guide.

SystemA PTW MAX with M150 cylinder, end of story.

You can NEVER get the same performance and reliability out of a ver.2 mechbox as a PTW, even at normal fps limits. Bump that up to 500fps and you're in a world of hurt for a ver.2, even reinforced.

Trying to keep a normal AEG running reliably at 500fps will be a huge headache and tonnes of work. Getting a PTW is far easier and in my opinion worth more than the price. Yeah you are looking at CAD$2000-2500 or US$1200-1600 and I used to think it was too much but now that I have one, I can't use anything else. Going from a PTW to a normal AEG, even with SystemA/Prometheus internals and high performance everything gives me the same feeling as when I used normal AEG's and then using clearsoft.

trust me I do understnad the reliability of those guns I just cant pay that much money. I would but just cant. So for the moment I just need to work on this list for my AEG. No hard feelings I just can't pay that much because I dont have that much money.

I do know one person running a 500fps G&P SPR. Has a G&P 7mm reinforced mechbox, SystemA max torque gears, nothing else I really know about. I also don't really recommend a 6.01mm inner barrel as I have used one and the accuracy difference between it and a 6.03mm is nill yet the jamming rate is much higher.

I second note that....just think once you are at 500 fps you are stuck there, on the other hand I for instance, well I just need to change a cylinder and battery and voila...I can play whatever restrictions they will alow me to....might I add that when you purchase accesories for your PTW has a 1:1 scale, meaning you go with the real stuff not just cheap knockoff......I ordered some Larue tactical mount for my soon to have Eotech and a CAA mount for my Surefire G2 Led...Just purchase the PTW and you will not to worry about any internals, just what gear you want to have on your gun...that simple....in the long run you will spend enought on that upgraded gun as the same price as the PTW...I know, my friend tried it with a TM M4A1 and paid too much actually more than 2500$.....and the sound is not the same as the PTW, actually everything, just plain different....

Since no one said it...*if* you live in Canada, i doubt anyone will let you play with a gun that shoots 500fps. Just a heads up so you don't spend your money just to find out you can't use your gun at any game.

He can bring it to target shooting...I tried it here in Port Coquitlam, BC...love it and people was looking at me since I was shooting fully auto  , this gun is very accurate, wow...and that is another reason to get a PTW, just change the cylinder.....save up for a 2008 model

Or.... you can buy a pellet gun for 1/4th the price and 3 times the accuracy. But meh, his money not mine.
