Exclamation 400 fps upgrade for CA G36

Hello everyone and greetings from Venezuela, i got a question about upgrading my Classic Army g36 (longest version) to shoot about 400-410 fps, what kind of internals do i need?, battery suggestions?, please take notice that my aeg is completely stock, doesn´t have any upgrades yet, i´m using it right now with a 8.4v 1200mah mini type intellect battery but i want a more decent rof.

Oh, almost forgot, need suggestion about what brand of tightbore would be better, here is a picture of my gun, thanks for your time!

So you want to go from stock to uber right away? Personally I think you should try it out for a while and see what its like before you go and spead alot of cash to get it that way.

In theory...a Systema or Prometheus M120 spring is all you need to reach 400fps. The CA V3 gearbox is already reinforced and has metal bushings. A metal spring guide and a better piston/piston head might help to prevent damage.

I find the rate of fire of my stock CA G36k just fine with a 8.4V battery. Using a 9.6V will give you higher ROF, but potentially increase the wear on your internals. If you want more ROF than FPS, you can get high speed gears and keep the stock spring.

I think the consensus on tightbores is that Prometheus stainless steel 6.03 are the best. If you change the inner barrel, replace the stock hop-up rubber at the same time. Apparently, anything is better than the CA stock hop-up rubber.

All you need to change is the spring and spring guide.

The rest should be fine (but get the gears shimmed and lubed)

To optimize, get a precision barrel too

That's it.

You -might- want to consider getting another battery, 9,6V-12V at min. 1500mAh - try find some GP or Elite battery cell, and solder your own battery.

Save yourself a headache - check the shimming immediately, replace the inner barrel and hopup with better quality units, and run it from an 11.1v LiPo battery.

?! An 11.1v!? Are you crazy? My AUG has a Systema M120 and runs fine with a 1500mAh 8.4v, and shoots 400 FPS. The only things it has is metal bushings and a bearing spring guide.

The OP wanted higher rate of fire.

Yeah, but an 11.1v would absolutely destroy your gun.

no there are many people across the world using 11V li-pos. I plan on running my M249 on a 10.8 not worried on bit, a guy on my team runs his CA AUG H-bar on a 10.8..... no problems

I use a 9.6 in my MP7 everyone that said "that thing is going to fly apart, you will strip your gears, your motor will blow up" was all wrong I have 50,000+ bbs through it and no ill effects yet except after one heavy full auto session the fuse blew.

I had my TMG36C upgraded into a squad gun -> 400-410 FPS + relatively high ROF.

That's what i've done (so far)):
1. KA metal bushing
2. Madbul m130 spring
3. CA Metal Spring Guide
4. Guarder clear hopup sleeve & bucking
4. Systema Gears
4. Systema turbo motor (short)
5. Systema BS Precision Barrel
6. Sector clip (for misfeeds, you wont need it if you are not going for high rof)
7. G&P stock with 9.6v 3300mah
8. 30A fuse
9. Mosfet.

Still to go:
1. Systema silent head set
2. Guarder Poly Carb. piston
3. Change everything to Dean connectors.

Good luck! :duke:
