Replica Red-dot Batteries
Does anyone know the type of batteries a G&G red dot take? my friend is going to let me use his but neither of us know the kind of batteries it needs

I know my scope uses a 3v. Like the ones that you would find for the RTC on a motherboard. Couldent you just open it up and look? IF you still dont know from there take it to canadian tire and compare it to the battery shelf...

Take mesures of what will fit inside, both width and height. I think the appropriate voltage is 3V for about any aimpoint. Go hunting for whatever will fit inside.
I've fed my nearly 3 year old Aimpoint nothing but the most random assortement of whatever fits, and it's still going with no problems. |

I use a 2032 in al of my red dots. Doesn't matter about the first 2 letters in front, but as long as it says 2032 on it.
