KSC G19 metal slide issues

Well, been confering with Stalker on this for the duration of the morning, Im not sure what could be the issue and hes pondering it over so lets see if anyone else has any ideas whats going on or how to fix it.

Unknown make of slide, its been polished so there are no trades out or in. Its a solid slide tho with a good weight to it. Installation of valve assembly was smooth, no issues it went right in.. However go to fire it with both my mags, it does the following:

Shoots one or more bb's while jamming the valve plunger in the mag so the gas releases prematurely after the shot. Will not stop till I remove the mag and recock, does it again after a shot or first one. Switch back to plastic and it fires fine.

Shoots normal, but does no re rack the hammer and slide to shoot again.

I shaved down the lips around the valve peice as they werent sitting as flush as they should, and was causing some interference in the slide with the lower(when u rack it, it would stick a bit)

AS of right now, still is doing these even with the flush rails inside, I am not sure whats going on at all.

Anyone?

Judging by your this comment it could be an older g19 slide , where the valve attachment post was too high. If this is the case , filing the valve flush wasent the cure. Filing down the post is what you needed to do because the whole valve mechanism would be sitting to high. If you have MSN my contact is lupo_bcac@hotmail.com

Stalker you have yourself a rival man! jk, your both great! Lupo guided me through some steps with shaving the screw tower on the slide down, placing a regular shim in there, and after some more adjusting and work, its not firing pretty much A OK!!

Thanks very much lupo.
