From the top...
1. The links don't point to any specific products. 2. Are you in Canada? You can't import from US sites then. 3. Fooling around with airsoft guns anywhere outside of designated play sites is inviting different kinds of grief in your life, ranging from confiscation of property, to a criminal record, to suicide by cop. Furthermore, please fill out your profile so that we may better direct you to local resources. If you are in Canada, the main thing to look out for is a minimum price tag of 400$, else you'll only be buying crapsoft. Crapsoft will fail you in ways you didn't even thought possible, and possibly give you aids. Please take the time to go through the FAQs, a lot of beginner questions are discussed there. If you feel there are questions not addressed properly in the FAQs, ask away. |

both links lead you to the same gun :P, if you and your friends are just looking to shoot each other in the forest, forking over 300+dollars for a airsoft gun is not your best bet :P:P you'd be better off going to canadian tire/wal mart as they sell lower quality and much cheaper soft air guns which would probably be better for you and your friends :P

Right now you have 3 options to purchase guns:
- A&A airsoft (http://aasurplus.ca/disclaimer.html) - 007 airsoft (http://www.007airsoft.com/) - The classifieds on this site To have access to the classifieds, you need to have your age verified by an ASC rep. The details of this procedure are in the FAQs. As for playing on your land, this is outside of my expertise, but the general rule of thumb is don't. It only takes one person to see you, after all. Please fill out your profile. Quote:

You will get a LOT more support from these forums if you get age-verified (see: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=23609) and as surebet said, fill out your profile.
In the meantime I suggest these actions: - First and foremost, the SEARCH button. Plug in the gun model, and select the review section and you'll get more than enough information. - Read the FAQs or lurk around the boards. There isn't a guide that teaches you everything about airsoft in 10 minutes, you gotta read around and get a feel for what's happening. |

classifieds are your best bet for low-budget airsoft. low budget meaning as in ($200+ for a gbb and $285+ for a JG/echo1)

The classifieds are a section you don't have access to yet since your age hasn't been verified. Again, if you would fill out your profile, we could direct you to a local rep or group of players. When your age is verified, you will have access to that section.
At the moment, that is the best place to pick up a gun, not only because of the lower price, but also because you'll find just about anything without having to wait a couple of months for a special import. The link Chuuchuu provided was a liste of local reps, since you haven't filled out your profile. A more detailed explination of age verification can be found here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=11474 Lastly, fill out your profile. No joke, we need this info to redirect you to your local ressources. Edit: Wait, what? Last edited by surebet; July 23rd, 2007 at 04:58.. Reason: o.0? |

I can't really answer the other questions raised but I can tell you a bit about firing on your own land.
I grew up in the great flat Saskatchewan prairies. Where if your a cop on someones land, even just driving up to the house on the main acreage can be trespassing. So you can go into your own woodland behind your back forty and have some fun. However be careful what you do. You should Handel the weapons just like you would if they where real. Shooting someone on your land is still manslaughter and you can still receive assault charges. So all in all, check out the laws in and around your area. For-warned is better then getting your ass in a sling. |
