Interested in steel APSII sear pin sets??
Recently I have been looking for the steel upgrade versions of the sear "A" and sear "B" pin sets for the APS2.
However, I have been informed that they are no longer manufactured (as the steel sear pin sets are a discontinued item) and have been unsucsessful finding any left over sets. They were originally marketed by PDI and were machined to near original specs, but all we can seem to find are the stock (pot metal) sear pins kits. So, I have approached a local CNC machine shop who are willing and able to reproduce the sear pin set (both sear "A" and sear "B") for the APS2 out of steel for a somewhat reasonable price. I am hoping to avoid pursuing this option, as the price per each set of sear pins will be around (but less than) $130.00 CAN, but unless someone can help us locate some steel sear pin sets, we won't have any options. By the way, if we have to have the sear pin sets custom machined, is there anyone interested in adding to our order?? If interested, we will have to finalize the order by the end of August, at which time the shop will need a solid commitment, meaning that we will need payment at that time. Please note that if we manage to generate more than 20 orders that the shop will lower the overall price per unit for us. Either way, it will take somewhere around 4-5 weeks to produce the sets (more of a side project for the shop, and by no means a priority), so delivery should be sometime early September. Again, if interested if custom CNC machined steel sear pin sets (both "A" and "B" sear pins) for the APS2, please post or PM me. Thanks; SHA DO

Some people have been checking out the post, but I see that there is no interest........NO ONE knows where I can get the FIRST FACTORY or PDI steel sear pins sets??? No secret stashes of left over BA parts?? Anywhere???
Guess I'll have to go through the CNC shop and thin out the wallet a bit. Again, is anyone interested in wanting a set for themselves?? Let me know.... SHA DO
