KM TN Inner Barrel?

Anyone have experience with 6.04mm KM TN Inner Barrels? How do they perform? And also, what is the difference between a coated and non-coated barrel?

I've searched "TN Barrels" but since the "TN" is too short to be searched, no right results comes up.

Thanks.

You can't go wrong with either KM or Prometheus inner barrels. They both have a teflon-nickel coating or whatever the TN stands for. The coating provides a better surface for lower friction between the inside walls and the bb. It can also reduce wear of the barrel compared to a non-coated barrel.

promethus and KM are almost no difference. KM has TN coating which makes the barrel smoother. both these barrels are 6.04 and 6.03mm in diameter so FPS wise, it'll be the same, Quality wise both are well made and are very popular. its just personal preference, i prefer KM, but i really dunno why. But if you want to go cheap, Systemas are pretty good too.
its just like buying BBs, so many competing brands and marginal differences in quality/performance.

I use both brands and it's very much the same. First choice would be KM because I've been using them longer and never had a problem with them and I like the color of their barrels. I don't have problems with Prometheus also and the color has no effect when you're looking at the performance of these 2 excellent brands. I'll buy Prometheus if the KM is out of stock without thinking twice. KM barrels are made of brass and Prometheus in stainless steel.

I have used Systema, KM TN, Prometheus and Madbull tightbores. I am satisfied with their performance. I use custom damagesupertightbores on all of my aeg and BA. Excellent quality and performance.

I was pretty sure that KM TN barrels are titanium. That's why they're more expensive, and may be why they have the TN on the name?
(I have an M4 length KM TN 6.04)

I do believe it's a coating of titanium compound, rather than the entire barrel being made from the stuff.

The debate is out there on whether "TN" stands for Titanium-Nitride or Teflon-Nitride.

I'm partial towards the former.
