GBB Brand Reputation
I am in the market for a more "affordable" GBB. I don't intend on using it alot, it's more for show on my thigh really. I have seen possible candidates from HFC and KSC(taiwan build).
I have decided that I want a GBB but not a CO2 model as I do intend on using it for random plinking aswell as to fill my tac holster. I know that some of you will suggest to get a springer if it's just for show, but a springer lacks the certain bad-assness that even an economy GBB delivers. My question to you is, which brand do you suggest? I am well aware that neither HFC or KSC(taiwan builds) are going to win any awards, but which company has a better reputation in the community? Buying economy doesn't necessarily mean buying shit. Thanks guys (and girls). - Ryan

Will you be buying new or "previously enjoyed"? Personally, I'd choose from KSC or Tokyo Marui but I do keep looking at that HFC Dark Hawk A&A has. If you want a showpiece consider a Desert Eagle.

On a budget, it's basically HFC, KJW and WE.

I suggest a KSC Glock rather than a Desert Eagle.they do have exsollent gas effiency compared to my Desert Eagle. I didnt like my Desert Eagle as much as my G18C or G19 because of the bulkyness... also i couldnt find a sholder holster for it.

if you are looking at the kjw m9 that A&A has in stock... then consider the following
downsides: -no trades / ugly "kj" on the grip -non working decocker (i think if you try and decock it.. the gun will fire) upsides: -metal version (can take propane) -mid range price 279.95 Last edited by szetor; June 22nd, 2007 at 00:21.. |

Well, I can only recommend what I own, and thats the KJW silver M9. Awesome gun for the money IMO. Cant beat full metal goodness.

Many of us have had great luck with KSC and KJW glocks.
My own preference is the KSC Glock-17, however, by the time you do the metal upgrades it's no longer the cheapest option out there. Brian at TTAC3 has run several KJW Glock 19's (approx $250, comes with metal parts!) and they've held up well after over 50,000 rounds fired EACH. -Tough to beat. /R |

I have a HFC G17, and while it comes with a metal slide, and sounds badass when it cycles, I'd have rather gone with the KSC, just because there are no parts for the HFC, and they aren't compatible with KSCs.
The HFC has no trademarks, and you can't use any other aftermarket slides. But the HFC was pretty damn cheap for a metal slide gun. |

KSC or TM.. dont cheap out by a few bucks to get the gun which will stop working in a few months.
