Question about the freedom art comp set and a tanio koba one touch joint

Here's what I want to do:

I want to install this:

and I also want to install a tanio koba one touch joint compensator and use a twist barrel or tightbore. my question is, will the tip of the inner barrel I choose to install need to be shaved down in order to fit through the one touch assembly? I remember that a user on this forum had one installed on his gun with a freedom art set, so may I ask that user if he can test this out by using an unmodified inner barrel and seeing if the one touch compensator attachment will slide through easily?

I believe that user was ILLusion. He had a hi-capa set up with it. I'd just like anyone who has that joint part to see if they can slide it through a normal inner barrel without any modification.

The Tanio-Koba one-touch joint is what's holding the Tanio Koba long compensator to the Freedom Art compensator.

Inside, I have a Nine Ball 7" inner barrel poking through to just before the side ports of the compensator.

Yes, the outer diameter of the inner barrel is different. Inside the Freedom Art's integrated frame compensator is an o-ring that holds the inner barrel steady. But there's enough room in there for it to compress to accept a longer inner barrel without having to turn down the OD.

ILLusion, do you know of any places that still carry the one touch joint adapter? It seems to be sold out at all major online retailers. If there isn't any way to get it, do you think I can use the tanio koba silencer adapter with a thread protector to stick the compensator on there?

No idea where to get it now. Took me a while to get it.

I suppose you can use a thread protector as a shim, as long as the outer diameter is 0.70" or less, it should work.

Remove the slide, remove screw in the back of the slide, pop out the blowback chamber, loosen the screw on top of your sight and the sight should easily slide out to the right. Replace with sight mount base and you're set.
