Over all its not horrible. Cost of upgrades can ding you good in the pocket overtime though.

I have a TM M4, it was my first and still remains as my primary. My stock speed when I got it was 315 fps. So far All I've done to it is: put a spring in to shoot 390 fps, metal bushings, and a UTG RIS. All in all I love it, I've had it for over 2 years and I've had no trouble with it. The only thing that really bothers me is the barrel wobble which occured after a year of possession. I will be getting a new barrel to fix teh problem which is not a major problem. So, for a starter it is a good gun for new players, but if you want to stay in it for a long time go with CA.

Hope this helps

Busted the tabs on my tm M4RIS my first outdoor game.

Depends on you, but I've never fielded a plastic gun in the 3 years since.

Being a more experienced airsoft player, I buy guns for their specifically for the quality of their metal bodies since I change out all the internals anyway.
But if you want a real good starter gun that'll last you a season or two, go with TM; they seem to have the most reliable internals. But if your going to upgrade to a metal M4 down the road your better off buying a new gun

Frank, that is what I'm doin and you know that but I'd rather spend the money to upgrade it to all metal than to decide what will be my 4th. BTW Frank I'm still plannin on gettin the SRC XM8 from WGC through Ken C
