D Boy gear
Does anyone use these chinese knock offs, they are a good price and they look good. Does anyone know anything about them good/ bad? I am looking at the ACE stock and a mag well thing.

I have MANY D-Boys rifles. To make a mag work, slightly trim the release tab at the top. D-Boys rifles Hop up feed tubes don't push this part back far enough to let the BB's out of the magazine.
Trust me on this, I tried everything at first, and this is what works. Just use an xacto knife to trim a little off the pointed end of the catch, and try it till it works. As you can tell, it won't take much. Just pushing the mags up makes them work, so it's a tiny change that's needed. Notice the D-Boys SPR in this vid has no problem shooting from the Marui magazine that's in it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=58vIxWIkx8o This gun is a tank! Check out how the heft of it hits my left hand... |

ACE stock and a mag well are not from DBoy, but from SP.

The ACE stock is a pretty good product. My gunsmith had to file it a bit to get some wiring to fit, and it doesn't exactly fit the Lipo batteries as advertised. I would get the nicd custom substitute. The build quality is pretty good though.

A buddy of mine just received a 416 grip from that company. The build quality is fine (ABS plastic is ABS plastic, for this application the marginal difference in quality is irrelevant) the exterior finish was nicely done, but one of the mounting screw holes was slightly mis-aligned. It was close enough that when he drove the screw in it seated itself in the grip properly. I mean, for $15 how can you go wrong?

Hey all! I puchused a M4 grip, a spare motor, and delta ring made by Dboys. Its ok quality but the paint finish on the delta ring assembly could of been a little better. But i mean for the price you couldent of gone wrong!
