A2

A4

- Forward barrel (between flash hider and front sight
- A4 has detachable rear sight/carry handle with top rail, A2 has integrated rear sight/carry handle
- A4 has tactical forward sling mount (side mounted)

Not sure of any internal differences.

From my understanding the A2 had ALOT of internal problems, and there are VERY little complaints about the A4. I don't own one but was looking into one for quite a while. Goodluck!

The only problem I've had with my A4 is the nozzle thing on the end of the cylinder head broke off due to it's only thin plastic. I replaced it with a Guarder double O-ring one, had havn't had any other problens since.

In my opinion, the stock CA piston can hold up very well as long as the rate of fire is not too high.

I am currently running 400fps on 3 CA AEGs with the stock yellow piston in the gearbox. The guns work flawlessly on large 8.4V 3300mah Intellect batteries.

just send it back to A&A to fix it when it breaks
word of caution, I don't know if they fixed the problem but CA tappet plates have been very brittle in most of the recent AEG's they've produced. If it does break buy the systema tappet plate for V2 gearbox.
