Another dumb question from the US (m14)
Ok I'm fixing to buy a m14 from redwolf, now my question is I see g&P rail mounts and tokoyo marui ones, first off what the difference in the rail mounts on these two m14s? cause on my m4 i have two ways to mount a scope of the main body just like every other m4.. so can some one please post me a link to some pictures where its supposed to go and should be attatched?
And no Im not a newbie Just never used one of these rifles Thank you always Graham |

Those mounts use a bolt on the side of the receiver to secure.
The difference between different brands is small aesthetic details, finish quality, and appearance (or lack thereof) of trademarks. |

Can always look at searching and buying a real steel M14 mount, most likely cheaper than airsoft versions (up here they are, like 1/2-2/3 the cost of the airsoft version) but the screw threads might not be the same.

I would wait for a while until buying one of the new CA M14's. They are based off the G&G one, which all except the newest one (the veteran version I think) were shit. Trust me, when it comes to the M14, the TM version is the best, you wont be disappointed.

I agree except that red wolf is preupgrading it, which means they will tare the gear box down and rebuild it. either way I will let you all know how it comes out if it goes poorly i can always sell it
I did lots of research and i found that if some one really good tares down the gear box puts new everything in it, the g&G's become much more reliable. its not a flawed design just a flawed quality process |

bad news from hong kong today... I was contacted by redwolf to be told that they would not be able to upgrade my weapon, or make the scope mount fit
they did offer the same on a tM m14 but we are still sorting out the details on cost hopefully things will work them selfs out.. |
