BAR
I was just at wgcshop and saw on the front page that they will have a BAR soon. I know i've seen some posts on this forums and you guys wanted to have some WW2 reanactments and since the BAR is the support weapon for allied troops back then I thought it was good idea to post this.

thats the first 100 or so, usually they have the limited edition with real wood, then they'll have shiny plastic parts on their production model.
I've heard they're only making a thousand or so, anyone got any info? |

I own a retail airsoft store just over the border from you guys in the Buffalo/Niagara Falls area in NY. I spoke with the exclusive distributor for Vega Force guns in the US today regarding the VFC BAR.
This is an extremely limited edition piece. There will only be 20 produced for sale in the entire world! They will each be handbuilt, with CNC machined aluminum bodies and barrels, and real wood grips and stock. Of the total run of 20 pieces, 8 will be made available in the US, leaving 12 for the rest of the world. My store will be getting 3 of the 8 of the US allotment. There is tremendous buzz and anticipation about this AEG down here in the States. The price is quite high at $1600, but only 20 lucky people in the whole world will be able to call themselves BAR owners. I'm sure this will rank as one of the nicest airsoft guns of all time.

Yes, it's nice, but even if your store is a few minutes from the border it does not help us in any way.

WarChild7... thank-you for taking the time to post that information and please excuse some of our "flame" happy posters. It's nice to see fellow airsofters from other countries share their knowledge.
P.S. Nice store BTW. |

I'd hate to be the first person to have trouble with getting guns across. I'm assuming they're not announcing the guns (or we just have really slack border guards), so if they do get caught, isn't that a smuggling offense?
