VFC HK416 Super DX
I was considering getting a Hurricane 416 kit to make a 416 but I think I am going to go a head and get the VFC 416 Super DX. I would just like a lil info and feedback from you all. Such as... do any of the VFC suppressors work with the 416's. I know the 416 is based on the M4 but am not sure if the muzzle is identical. I would realy like to use the VFC KAC M4 QD Suppressor or VFC HK G36C Quick Detach (QD) Suppressor. If one or both of these work I will be greatly releived. Also does anyone know where to get a VFC 416 Super DX for under $505 as this is the lowest price I could find as of yet. I have abot $1100 left from my tax check that I plan through into this 416 project. I will be getting the Star AN/PEQ 2 with working laser as well as a nice scope and this and that.

Thanks for the replys. Yea, the price of $505 is USD(I'm in Texas) from www.uncompany.com. I cant find a better price than that as well with alot of their prices. I did find out that the VFC KAC M4 QD Suppressor works with the all the VFC 416's, but thanks for double checking Darklen.
Well this is what all I think I want to get... tell me if you think it sounds good. I am still debating on if all this is what I acctuly want. Mabye a week or so of price w/shipping hunting and finalization of accessories and I will order. Its a good chuck of cash so I wanna be sure I am not disapointed with the items I get. Let me know if you have heard good or bad things about any these items. Like weather or not they are sturdy or lose or foulable ect.. Thanks again guys. Er.... You did remember that UNCompany's site is generally set to USD right?
Also, I see your missing a mechbox there.

VFC is the complete gun, not a kit like the Hurricane. My issues when making my choice were that the VFC does not have a reinforced gearbox and battery options are limited to in the RIS or the supplied PEQ. While the Hurricane route was more expensive, it gave me a lot more options. In addition, since I've gotten my 416, I've talked with several VFC owners who have been having problems with the electricals. Common complaint seems to be the trigger switch. Not having one, I can not confirm, but is based on my discussions with 7 US owners and three European owners. 3 US and two European owners say the've had problems.

Sell my HK416.... not bloody likely lol. I snapped it up quickly at A&A back in January because I knew id never get a chance again to get one. For $1200 its beautifully finished as it should be. I reccomend this gun not as a reliable platform but as a secondary as i've heard many accounts at Arnies Airsoft where people area having issues with them. So far in my test stages of the gun it seems to operate nicely out of the box. But until I field it I can't say for sure. Buy one if you get the chance though!

The VFC one does come with a nice PEQ unit which is identical to the KA one in every way. I have a 9.6v 1700mah that JUST fits into the VFC one. I went out and purchased a STAR PEQ which is capeable of holding up to a 9.6v 3300mah. So if you really want a phat battery buying a larger peq or getting a battery stock is a good idea.

My HK416
I have a VFC HK416 DX that i got from AA 2 months ago and it is unreal, the best yet all metel not one plastic part, as for the probs on arnies its not that big of a deal all you need to do is replace the cut-off lever to salve the semi auto prob and as for the triger switch assembly i havent had any probs. I rewired the matchbox to the rear with some heat shrink and added a crane stock battery 9.6V 4200 and replaced the bushings to metel (7mm) added a promethius piston for long life and durability and tight bore barel for distance and grouping and this thing rocks the playing field. if anybody needs help with there HK let me know
