Resident Evil/Umbrella Soldier Load Out Assistance Request

Ok, folks, looking to load out in a new & potentially fun way.

I've been researching Resident Evil of late, and have decided to load myself out as an Umbrella Corporation Trooper. Here in lies the snag. I've searched various threads, various websites, game sites, cosplay (YIPES!) sites, etc, and although some of the so-called "Looks" are interesting, to me, they're just not intimidating enough. A lot of the pictures I've seen are your basic SWAT ERT type load outs, repleat with campy poses, crapsoft air guns and such.

Not for me.

unh uh... Nope...

I mean, come on, it the Umbrella Corporation, for God's sake!

So, I have a basic idea of what I'm looking for, BUT I'm reaching out to the long time players, the gear whores, the game geeks, and the fans, for ideas, web links, gear suggestions, weapons, and over all appearance. I'm also seeking the Umbrella Patches, from Canada, if possible, the full meal deal from top to bottom.

Put your thinking caps on, and feel free to chime in, I'm open to all help, direction & guidance you fine folks can offer.

Help me create an intimidating Umbrella Corporation Soldier!

At the beginning of the 21st century, The Umbrella Corporation had become the largest commercial entity in the United States. Nine out of every ten homes contain it's products. It's political and financial influence is felt everywhere. In public, it is the world's leading supplier of computer technology, medical products, and health care.

Unknown even to it's own employees, it's massive profits are generated by:
Military Technology,
Genetic & Biological Experimentation,
and Viral Weaponry.

This dude looks like Greg Dupres, a local NB man who is on trial for Killing an elderly couple via decapitation, and fled to the border as an American Soldier Assassin Pilot. he claims his attorney is al-queda and that theres a super police patrol, no joke.

anyways something on topic. i see what you mean, these loadouts arent very intimidating at all. Its either because of the crapsoft, the fact their surrounded by chronicly malnutritioned In-yuashas and Yu-Gi-ohs or that their frail pale 96 pound bodys arent exactly "umbrella Corp Trooper material"

Corcoran dress boots (or HH garrisons, if you can find them )
http://www.shoestoboot.com/images/co...an/xcs2525.jpg
and a black phantom ciras (if available..not too sure about their colors)
blackhawk hellstorm knee, and elbow pads ...

If you're going for an intimidating look you got to balance out size, with bad-ass factor. Big 16 eyelet boots really help this, especially if they're steel-cap'd...

think big, and bulky though.

Ok so you're not going for S.T.A.R.S. you want Corporate, sorta like the soldiers at the beginning of the movie Resident Evil 1? hmm

1. Black PASGT/MICH Helmet
2. Type M95 Gas Mask
3. Black SWAT armour with Shoulder armour
- Lose the SWAT patches and put on your umbrella patches
4. Black BDU's with proper patches, name tages etc
5. Black Leg drop holster
6. Black Leg Drop Mag dump pouch

Will post more based on research

These might be the guys you're looking for Haggis. They are the bad boys of the Umbrella Corp. U.B.C.S.

or

The UT unit
The game Resident Evil: Survivor includes a special force of shock troopers known as the Umbrella TrashSweepers, also known as the UnderTakers or Cleaners. Cleaners appear to have uniforms similar to those of Umbrella's Special Forces Unit, with kevlar vests, gas masks, and gray BDUs; however, they are clearly inhuman. They have unnaturally long arms, they are incapable of speech, and when they are killed, they dissolve into green ichor. According to the game, their role is to destroy all evidence of a viral outbreak, including survivors. The Brady strategy guide describes them as "robotic special forces troops" which dissolve when destroyed so as not to leave evidence of their existence.

Okay, good start.

The majority of the links to cosplay (Resident Evil) looks I was already aware of, but thanks for linking them up just the same. Shows that A lot of people are keen to help me out.

From the game stand point, the majority of the Umbrella trooper look is pretty generic SWAT ERT load out, but I'm looking to apply a little more of the real world load out to my airsoft look. I'm working from the view point of, what options do I have, if the situation I were involved in, as an Umbrella Soldier, were real... How would I load out? What would appear, to the common person on the street, as a "Oh Shit, get outta way!", kind of look.

I appreciated the comment on the boots & I agree that part of the badasss look begins with the boots. Once upon a time I saw a pair of Safety Boots from Husqavarna that were outstanding, over the ankle, steel capped, black with lace ringlets that ran wide all the way up the boot. However the website does not show them now - so I will be cruising the pawn shops to see if I can salvage a pair.

I also appreciate the pic of the asssault vest, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. I've tried locating something along the lines of the black ballistic "bubble" vest the IDF used once upon a time, part plate carrier, part walking armoury with more mag pouches then one might think usable.

So far, so good.

Let's keep the ideas coming.

My real world zombie killing gear would be layered up clothing a motorcycle helmet and a molle plate carrier for mag pouches. Heavy leather boots and spectra puncture proof gloves. Shotgun for trauma, has to be semi-auto or have a magazine of shells. But then again I always score well on those "How would you fair if zombies attack" quizzes

To be honest, I would go with the following:

CIRAS
Shoulder pads
Bicep Armour
Neck Armour
Elbow and knee pads (bijaan style)
Crye cut bdus (probably AUC, or Swat Blue/Grey/Black)
Probably Original Swat Boots (Comfy footwear, good for urban environments, feels like running shoes)
Some flavour of Gas Mask
large black Dump pouch
Black 6004 for something in a .45 ACP or .40 SW
mich/ach
SR25 URX would look pretty badass, and nothing like 7.62 to take down zombies, with m203

It is sort of ERTish, but most loadouts will be short of buying trojan Body Armour.
