KA Fal anf G&G L85A1
Ok, so I want to buy a new AEG for my british setup (one modern and one old school)
I'd really like to complete my British Paratrooper impression of the Falklands. So I'd need a FAL. But the only problem is that KA just released the model and I haven't saw any review yet. The other impression I'd like to complete is a modern British Paratrooper with an L85A1. I already have some 30 rounders from my M16A1. But I'm not a fan of the moving ejection port... Looks like another thing to break easily. What would be your choice? And could I do a special order on ASCA?

Dont some modern British use Armalites???/ if so, then yo could use an m4.. I am not totally sure a bout that.
Other then that, id go for the l85. love the bullpup design, the lines of the weapon.. awesomeness to me.

I think some RM uses the A2.
If you want to know if you can do a special order, I would contact Hojo directly.

After reading that I pretty much gave up on the prospect of getting an L85 for a couple of years. |

i have seen a couple user reviews out there on the FAL (on arnies i think) and the impressions were good overall but its expensive, and in canada will be even worse.

Opinion on the KA FAL over at Arnies seems favourable, here's a thread with some informal reviews: http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forum...pic=87096&st=0
The new folding stock versions and medium length one are out, too. http://airsoft-news.eu/e107_images/n...miliy_2801.jpg If I had the money, I'd be keen on getting one, much more so than the G&G L85. Heard too many bad things about it.

Everything I've heard about the G&G L85 says its a worse hunk of crap than the real L85.... Suppose you'll have to go STAR.

Are STAR L85 any better than the G&G?
And how difficult would it be to get a FAL in Canada? Thanks guys, your help is very appreciated!

You would have to get age verified first, then either contact some of the individuals that run restricted orders, or ask ASCA to bring one in for you.
My understanding is that the Star AEG, though not perfect will continue to function after a few mags, unlike the G&G. There are a few threads about it over at arnies, run a search on their forums. www.arniesairsoft.co.uk

I've discussed of the wood furniture with a guy from the UK and he says he might know where to get SLR wood kit!
I'm now looking more and more towards the FAL
