Systema AEG m4

Hello, I'm Vek and I'm kinda new here
I have been reading on some forums in the search for Systema AEG info and i didn't find much. I'm guessing its cause of the high prices, anyhow if anyone have some personal experience with such tools I would be glad to hear everything
in particular I'm looking for information of compatibility of Systema AEG m4 with parts such TM such as magazines and intellect batteries.
Thanks Vek

For starters, it may be better for you to fill your profile so that local players (to you) can assist you better.

Secondly, get age-verified or go to a game/meet to see for yourself what is used.

By all accounts, Systema guns are the top of the heap BUT... for that cost you can get perfectly acceptable equipment from Marui, CA, ICS and other established brands.

As far as I can remember, systema guns take systema mags because of the system where once you fire the last bb it shuts off the power till you reload.

google, "systema ptw review" gets you a barrel full of reviews;

http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...ema+ptw+review

Although the Arnie's one is most likely the most reliable;

And right here on this board;

Systema M4's ($2K) cost more than a real M4's ($1500 from Wolverine). The ammo is cheaper and you can't shoot your friends (without getting in trouble), but if you're looking to drop that kind of cash, why buy a toy?

Mmm hmm, because unless you're age verified you're not qualified to ask questions or receive answers here. And everyone that registers here can be age verified.

/points to vekcna's location

He didnt have his out of country location posted when Grey did Gryphon.

But no you do not need to be age verified to ask questions.

veckna, touch base with Spitfire here on these boards, he's from your side of the pond and a Systema owner to boot. He can fill you in more on whats available and pricing to you over there.

Many people on arnies state that the Systema PTW's are money pits... for the price they dont even perform as well as a normal AEG for half the price...

Just a small note for those who are looking at the Systema PTWs...

Quote:
You should see a doctor about that, cause really, the PTW is NOTHING amazing, it's not even good. It's a friggin money pit. Batteries are expensive and must be Systema. Mags are bloody expensive and must be systema. The receiver is'nt made from top quality materials, and looks ###### compared to a Guarder receiver. Accuracy is utter *beep*, and after spending $250 on a custom barrel, its now average.

Well that statement is incorrect. The batteries do not need to be Systema ones, they just need to be 7.2v which is what they require.

Mags are only about $60cdn new now (I got mine used for less), and yes they must be Systema but that is part of the design of no dry firing which you are buying when you get a systema

The receiver is by far above and beyond anything from Guarder.

Accuracy is great, no need to change out a 6.03 Systema barrel.....

So other then mags (which you need anyways with any gun), a 7.2v battery ($30), and if you want upgraded Cylinders (which can be ordered direct with no import issues for about $230).

Aren't the stock cylinders already top-notch?

I've heard that the hurricane bodies are alot higher quality than the Systema ones, but I'm kind of doubtful.

I really want to get the challenge kit after bmq is done... fark... >_<

Well the new PTW Max units come with I believe the M130 cylinder unit which shoots at about 430fps.

m90 is around 320fps
M110 is around 380fps
