what do i change/m870

i was looking at the maruzen m870 gas shotgun that uses hfc134a gas,
in the up grade section it will use top gas. is this gas the same as
propane? i would rather use propane as it's cheap

I suggest you sit back and read about airsoft guns, gas, etc for a while. Then, when you have a question about Upgrades, or Airsoft guns, you can post it in the correct section of the forums?

Green gas IS propane.

if you don't know for sure, then please don't reply. i asked about top gas
and propane, are they exactly the same,i read the threads you mentioned,
but i want a clear answer,i don't want the internals exploding on me.

p.s maybe a mod can move this thread for me thanks

What I am trying to point out is you are posting in the Wrong Section.

If you DO read about green gas (sometimes called by other names) and Propane (already written down) you Will have your answers.

And I did answer your question. So sit back and read some more.

Here; http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=6268

Then just get one of MadMax's adaptors.
If you still worry, go to a meet or something and ask in person. I bet the answers will be the same.

I'm really lost... some people say that green gas is propane, other say that I can't use a KSC G18C (ABS version) with propane or it will explode.... WTF? Who have the true answer?

Green Gas = Propane
Propane + ABS = Breakage (not instantly, but over time it will snap because ABS can't take the higher blowback rate)
Propane + Metal = FTW
