Canadian Sidearm

What sidearms do the CF use? I've never been able to find a proper answer on that question.

No Browning HP not 1911
Favorite side arm of machine gunners in the CF.
Don't believe what people say these things are accurate and reliable except for weak springs in the magazines.

ops sorry. well on tour we just said 1911 sorry. but when i see it all belive it. MP's are issued the Sig.

This piece of equipment falls under the Category Weapons.
This Equipment is used by the following trades: Small Arms.

BROWNING 9-MM PISTOL



The Browning 9-mm pistol is carried by officers and soldiers who require a sidearm that can be rapidly drawn and fired, even in confined spaces. The pistol consists of a barrel, a slide, a breech block, a frame, and a 13 round magazine.

The Official Sidearm for the CF is a Sig P226. It IS current issue.

still think we should've gone with Para-Ord. , or something 1911-based (clones) atleast.. not a huge fan of the sig...
