Dismantled my WA M92F and I can't figure out where this piece goes

So my M9 essentially got submerged in sand the other day and I had to take it apart completely to get it cleaned out. I was able to piece it all back together except for one piece.

It's some kind of tension wire but the exact placement I'm unsure of. When I dissasembled the gun it popped out.

If anyone could help me out with that's be great. The diagram in my manual doesn't help much. It just shows the piece hovering on the right side of the gun with no arrow pointing to where it goes. The only help I suppose is it tells me what the orientation of the piece should be, which I've used in the picture here.

Thanks in advance.

And it looks like the slide catch tension spring.

Oops my bad. In my desperation I guess I didn't even bother to read any forum stickies. Sorry. If a mod could move this thread back to where it should be this one time - I tried to delete this thread but I couldn't find the option.

But er, back to the topic. I don't think it's for the slide catch since it's on the left side and it's in workikng order. I 'think' this piece has to do with the piece you see above it, which connects the trigger to a peice with releases the hammer. That piece needs to be pressed upwards in order to work, but I just have no idea how it does this.

Sorry, to help you further I'd need a Beretta in front of me. Possibly the disconnector spring then.
My eyesight is not what it used to be.

If memory serves right, it should be giving tension to bring the piece forwards after the trigger is released, but it's been a long while.

it belongs in the right grip. It supplies pressure tot he arm that pulls the trigger. I found it a bitch to put back when i fixed cowabunga the destroyers gun.

Thanks all. I finally got it all back together. I made a little mod to the picture so this thread can stay in the solutions section.

I have the same problem with my KJW M9 Elite now that I've installed my new Hogue grips on it. I can't figure out how to put it back in so the lever works again, can anyone help?

In some addition to the thread.

The spring goes inside the arm for the KJW, there a small hole where it goes inside the arm!!

The bar is called the trigger bar. The bottom edge of the trigger bar has a slight groove in it that the spring rests in. You install the spring in the same orientation as shown in the pic above, but with the trigger bar installed in the gun first. Then install the grip.

There should be an allen/hex screw (whatever you wanna call it) at the top of the right hand safety lever. To find it, put the gun on safe and the screw should be facing straight up right beside the rear sight. It should be a 1.5mm screw. Unscrew that, and the right lever should slide off (forward). Someone's gonna have to take over from here cause that's as far as I got before chickening out
I think the other lever just pushes out, but you may want to wait for someone to confirm that.

edit: My bad...didn't look at the post date...=.="

That little spring is ridiculous. It pushes up the slide catch. it also happens to fly out at you whenever you pop off the grip. FAIL
