The Island

I just saw the movie "The Island" the other day, better than I expected. It showed a lot of cool gadgets and technology. There was one scene that showed the Delta force team trying to get the two clones from the police. When the Delta force came out of their armored vehicle, they were geared up with masks on and were shooting at the police with these cool guns. Does anyone have a pic of the guns I am talking about and what guns are they? I have been searching the web to find out more but can't find anything. Any help with pics and with identifying this gun would be helpful. Thanks.

they were (underneath everything else) AK variants. Not all of them I suppose, but the one I remember seeing distinctly had an AK magazine coming out of it. Think "AK with a body kit...

Cool movie, I agree. Kindof strange that I never heard much hype about it.

you would think that a movie like this would be a bit more popular, they should have publicitized" it more and for those who didn't see it should go out and rent it, the concept is pretty cool

Agreed. very good movie. Much better than I expected from Michael Bay. Well thought out and the plot was interesting.

Well I had to get these from the movie on the TV so the quality is not good but you'll get the idea. This is the gun I am talking about:

At closer expection, it looks like some kind of AK47 variant, not my favourite gun but this version looks superhot.

Shit, I meant Scarlett Johanson. I have a friend who looks almost exactly like her. I get them confused a lot.

Don't be so sure about it being an AK varient. There are numerous weapons chambered in 7.62x54R that accept AK mags without a problem. For example, a certain M-4 that an American company made that takes AK mags.

Werd to that -

And besides, coma-patient, the SR-47 would look PILES different than that, even if that were what it was underneath (why put a pseudo-AK style front grip on it if it's an armalite?)

YARR!!!
