TM SR16 upgrade questions

I am wanting to upgrade my stock TM SR16 so it shoots at higher
velocities. While looking for upgrade options I spotted this kit by
systema http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-UPI-S16R-120.htm
The kit sounds fairly klutz proof to install, and includes everything.
370 - 400 fps should do quite nicely for woodland shooting, or for
the odd aimed single shot, basically I want to have the option of
doing either one. Would this kit be a good purchase, or would I be
better off buying something else?

I have that exact gearbox in my M4. The thing is totally insane. Crisp and smooth (Puts TM to shame). I will buy these boxes for ALL ver2 AEG's i get. Get rid of the shotty EG1000 motors that come with TM AEGs (new ones anyway). Pic up a systema motor and slap it in there. I am awaiting mine! I had a systema highspeed motor and the thing was crazy.

Well worth the $300. You may find yourself buying other parts too. Why buy a nice mechbox if you are running a stock barrel? Just try not to spend $500+ on your AEG internals like i have

Have a good one

So that systema mod kit and a systema motor would be the combo to
go with? What sort of velocity were you able to get out of your airsoft
guns with that mod kit?

I can't order a gearbox from airsplat.com, apparently they won't ship to Canada. Ordered one from wargamer's club though, but will have to
change the spring. Their gearbox comes with a systema 150 spring in it,
too hot for use up here. Will replace it with a guarder 110 to keep things
safe.
