anyone experienced with cutting metal?

I'm trying to do a project that involves reducing the size of a magazine. It doesn't need to function, just externally it has to look presentable.

the first pic is the cut


the 2nd pic is the finished product


so basically to make the 40 rd mp7 mag into a 30 rd mag.\

maybe there is someone in the GTA that can take on the job with a donor mag. fees on me of course.

I imagine a chop saw with a metal diamond blade would do it, then just jb weld the bottom on.
