A&K hop-up - worth the upgrade?

Hey all.

Just recently got a barebones A&K SR15 URX3. The hopup is definitely functional but the gun generally lacks the snap of my ICS or G&G. If I crank the hopup all the way up, it double-feeds. I have it just-off the top end and it's working perfect, if a little light.

Is it worth putting an aftermarket hopup unit in this thing, or just trade up to a different brand?

If so - what am I looking for?

Id try a different hop bucking/nub combo. Ive had two guns out of the box have no nub at all and a third where the inner barrel was upside down inside the chamber. Thats where id start and go from there. Generally the stock units are fine for the most part.
Summed up, new bucking/nub and run it till it breaks
