Real Sword Type-56 LiPo Compatability
Sup dudes,
I bought a used RS Type-56 on here a couple months ago and only now have time to start playing around with it. It's wired to dean's right now and I only have one battery wired to dean's. I have some dean's connectors laying around and I'm considering switching a shitty Turnigy Nano-Tech 7.4v 1200mAh LiPo I have from mini tamya to dean's. My only question is, will the Real Sword be able to handle a LiPo, specifically one wired to dean's? I'm a bit of an airsoft noob so I really don't know. Real Sword's website says that it's compatible with: 8.4V/2000mAh, 9.6V/2000mAh and 12V 2000mAh batteries, but doesn't say anything about LiPos. I know the gun has modified internals but I don't think it has a mosfet, unfortunately the seller deleted the thread after selling it so I don't really know what modifications were done and whether any of these would affect LiPo compatability. |

2 cell lipos (7.4v) are fine for all guns, it's when you get into 3 cell lipos (11.1v) that they can/will fry your trigger contacts if you don't have a MOSFET installed.
