How to remove inner barrel from G&G GK74N
OK so I have bought my first AK and I want to RHOP the barrel. For the life of me I can't seem to find any guidance instructing me how to get to the inner barrel to modify the Hop Up unit.
Some guidance would be very much appreciated.

Once I waded through the onslaught of helpful posts I managed to figure it out with a little common sense.
hhmmm grub screw here, two set screws there, turn counter clockwise and voila. Installed the RHOP patch and she is set. Doesn't have the range of the EBR though. 245 feet is about the max. Still have to adjust the hop up but I don't' expect to get the 265 out of it.

245 feet still isn't too shabby for a G&G AK! Well done...especially if it's the stock barrel. My RK104 is r-hopped with the stock barrel and that's pretty much what it does...80 yards, give or take. Considering the awesome rattle of the pneumatic blowback and the general badass-ness of it all, I'll cut it some slack and be happy with that. Sure my G36 absolutely out ranges it and is much quieter doing it, but it's missing that rag tag je ne sais quoi, y'know?

Yes it is all stock save for the RHOP patch and the Sorbo material I use for the nub. The blowback clanking is interesting, wish it didn't sound so tinny if I'm honest. Overall I'm very impressed with this weapon as a stock gun.
Very quick ROF as well with the 11.1 lipos it come with.

If it's any consolation, a real AK sounds like a rattling bag of hammers too. Hahahaha. Yeah, I have to agree, after a couple of tweaks, these rifles are awesome...really awesome.
