Cool VFC 416 - Stock Squishy trigger upgrade?

Yo!

The AEG =
- 2012 VFC HK 416
- 11.1v 20c Firefox lipo
- Lonex Titan A1 high torque
- Pico Mosfet
- 425 fps on .2

The main plan in this upgrade is to get this stock trigger to be less squishy, & also fire the AEG with a shorter pull. . and if possible ... maybe close to an AR-15 type trigger weight? :hammer:

Willing to also hear some recommendations for some real good lipo batteries. I rather not have to buy a new motor.

Which ways could we cut this cantaloupe?

YO G!!!

you have a lonex A2 (orange)

i have that variable c lipo that you might wanna try (15c 25 burst) and the other 25c and 50 burst

might make a difference

but i doubt its a motor issue, i went from a stock vfc motor to tienly motor i had no difference in trigger response

vinces vfc has the same feel with the squishy trigger

There's a way to tune it to become a hair trigger, but I don't know how. Pestobanana posted a video recently showing a VFC 416 with a hair trigger, so might be good to ask him (hell, I want to know too, and do my M4).

Damn, a Spectre is expensive and a huge investment... I wonder if OP's problem with a long trigger pull and reset could be solved using a SPEED trigger.

The problem is in the trigger trolley and mechnical interaction of the trigger to it.
You can mod it to have a shorter pull, but its a lot of tweaking work. Id go with the specter just out of convenience

The spectre would be nice upgrade, tad to expensive for me atm as I just recently put in a mosfet..*facepalm*

Would speed trigger be a mechanical alternative, and later down the line mesh well with a spectre mosfet upgrade?

I'm not aware of the speed trigger having that feature. As far as I know it's an entirely cosmetic upgrade.

The Speed trigger does have adjustable travel but I don't think you will get any benefits of this without swapping out the stock trigger assembly for a BTC Spectre.

Even if you have the Spectre, you can do the hair line trigger with the stock trigger.

Speed and all the other ones are 100% gucci factor.

Partially correct.
You can set the slack with the Speed trigger, but you can't adjust the over-travel.
