G&G CM16 Upgrades?
First time ever posting anything on this page.
I have been playing with an G&G CM16 for three years now. It has also been giving me problems on the field. Not feeding or jamming. Also performance wise it has gotten worse.I feel that I could improve its performance by changing internals or what not. I have never done any kind of modifications to airsoft guns. Should I modify it at all? Leave it as it is? Thanks just looking for some guidance. |

Is it shooting lower FPS? Also perhaps the barrel is dirty and/or cylinder and piston head is dry/dirty.
If you feel it's gotten worse then maybe it just needs a tune up/cleaning inside. Otherwise I wouldn't put too much money into a CM16, would be a better idea to buy a second gun. |

Yeah, just fix the Combat Machine to get it working better... it's not an upgrading platform in my honest opinion.
Give specific issues and we'll be able to better help you in troubleshooting, like how is it jamming, how is the performance down, etc. |

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

3yrs old and stock? Needs an overhaul. Regreasing at the very least, probably a new hop rubber.

Agree with above. IMO, get the gun working first, then just some basic regrease, shim, barrel cleaning.
If it worked, great. A bit extra would be a new hop up rubber, maybe even check compression and then go from there. By no means am I an expert, but that would be the steps that I would take.

The FPS has lowered since I got it. Also the trigger locks when changing the select fire to semi. i just want the gun to have better accuracy when on the field. What parts would be recommended?
