Javelin m24 build questions.
Ok.. So here I go.
Second sniper build and I've decided to come to the experts for guidance..... I've purchased a used javelin m24, it is by far one of the most sturdy feeling snipers I've used and I feel it deserves to be gutted and rebuilt to a modest fps, pushing a bb through a tightbore. My questions extend to this. After doing much internet searching I've found the power end is L96/Aps2, but I can't find any solid place to get decient barrel, hopup, and trigger information. Is there a retailer or gunsmith that does flat hop/tightbore combos? Is the trigger a aps2, vsr, or l96? Thanks guys

Trigger is aps2. It's not bad for a stock trigger. Will hold 550fps. Pdi makes parts that are direct fit for the javelin m24/snow wolf m24.

Sweet, new question.
Is the hop up chamber type 96 too? Best barrel? Mad bull? Prometheus? This angel fire?

I'm gonna run a barrel that's 400 I think. I have a (probably fake) prommy eg 455mm I'm gonna chop down. I made a thread adapter that extends down the outer barrel by ~8" or so. The tip is threaded on the outer barrel. It's 18mm ccw if I remember right...?

Considering flat hop? Any view on flat hopped barrels in snipers?

Careful, as there is 2 versions of the Javelin M24.
One is 100% APS2 compatible. Other is a mix of APS2, VSR-10 and proprietary (I got this one). You can spot the version by the mag, one has feeding lips, the other has a retainer like AEG mags/VSR-10 mags. APS2 has the feed lips. |

Also Echo1 M28 mags look identical to the hard to find M14 mags. But they don't fit or feed. |
