Once you have the hop up on it'll be brought down, after it settles in you'll be closer to 400.

I never understood why people/organizers choose to chrony with the hopup off...no one plays with the hopup off. The argument that "people can cheat the chrony by cranking their hopup up" holds little water with me, since a hopup set too high to cheat the chrono by any significant amount (more than 10fps) is going to cause a jam anyway.
