Hsgi taco question
So was looking into changing chest rigs and looking at hsgi taco mag pouches as they are fairly universal which is good for my growing collection. Now I kinda got a weird question that came up when I was playing around with my old chest rig and 50rd glock or even smg style mags. I noticed (glock mags atleast) that two of them side by side were same width and same thickness as a single m4 mag. So does anyone know or willing to try putting two extended pistol or smg mags side by side in a taco and see if they will both stay in and if remove one will it drag the other out? If it works could save allot of cash on pistol tacos for my vector

It's tough to get them in, but they aren't going anywhere. As long as I removed the higher one first, the other didn't move. With just one mag in, there is a lot of play. I wouldn't trust it, but I'm a very active player. Depending on your play style you might be able to get away with it.

Sweet ty for the reply I wasn't sure how it'd work. Probably just safer to go extended pistol tacos especially with price of vector mags but I was curious haha

I did the same thing with mp7 mags back when I had one, I was playing with making a kydex insert that would hold both in and still clamp the other mag when you pulled one but I never got it to work. I think it could be done if you set up the kydex press up properly but I sold the mp7 before I invested much more time in it.

Yeah, definately get the extended tacos for that. They are great pouches, but they should be used as intended.
