an m140 will put you over the 400fps limit by a bunch, and be hard on your gears, why do you want to do this?

You're going to break your gun.

Neither of those are the best motor but the lonex is very good.
an m140 is gonna likely push over 450fps just fyi

Yes, auto corrected to 400 lol would likely be 450-460 dependant on barrel and cylinder.

Either he/she doesn't know that this will put the fps way to high and/or break the gun, or they don't want to play airsoft, they want to hurt people.

Maybe they have a wicked air leak? Not uncommon for an ICS

Maybe building a dmr, maybe just building for target shooting, maybe they play at a field with higher limits, (warsoft is 500max across the board, pistol rifle saw no matter)
So long as we a ducats them on their choice it's still theirs to make lol

milsim is the most common type of games we set here in the philippines since its jungle is very vast and good.. we need higher fps but not more than 600fps.. 600 is the final limit here in playing milsim and 450 for cqb...

we play always in the jungle maybe a 5 to 8 hectares of vast jungle field... our limit here in milsim games is 600fps.. that's the maximum limit but we do not engage on a distance of less than 40 meters... we need higher fps because we fight on people on the other side of the river bank, cliff and dams... philippines is a very good site for jungle warfare game.. in terms of the gun.. it can hold even up to m150 for stock gearbox/mechbox... for my gears i even use the stock gears and it doesn't give me any problem.. it can hold the spring tension.. now im running my fps at around 470 to 475 fps but changing my barrel from 6.03 to 6.02 at m16 length that gives me around 485 to 490fps... im just torn between ICS turbo 3000 and Lonex A1 titan motor..

The lonex motor is good, no experience with the ics but I'm sure others will chime in.

the ics motor is inferior.. it will probably pull it but it's probably going to be laboring.

The lonex motor will pull a 140 easily but it's in the middle of the pack when it comes to power consumption vs power.. If RoF is not as big of a concern, try a higher TPA motor like a JG blue zci, or shs. They will run more efficiently but at a slower rpm.=, but they all still have powerful magnets so they generate more than enough torque to pull a 140 spring.
