WE G17 must get upgrades?

Read through the "upgrading your TM Glock" Thread here --> TM Glock upgrade...blah blah but knowing that a lot of the out of the box issues the TM's have vs. the WE's, what are the must gets for performance upgrades?
Inner Barrel, Bucking, etc?
Right now I am leaning towards a PDI Inner with PDI W-hold.

Inner and Bucking are good start, else when things break you can slowly upgrade

PDI makes great stuff, I would suggest that route.

Upgrade from a WE to a TM. That's a must upgrade for sure if you want a nice glock.

for WE glocks, basically the barrel assembly. Inner barrel. Hopup Bucking, i would also suggest changing the hopup unit itself, So far all the WE GLocks ive owned had really bad hopup arms that failed miserably. ended up using AIP and OEM TM Units.

Just my experience tho

Sorry to hijack. So the AIP or TM hop will drop into a we g17 or g18c or does it require some fitment?

The WE Glocks have come a far way since the disaster of a Hi-Capa I started with in 2011. I've recently gotten some trigger time with a WE Glock, and was throughly impressed with the groupings I was able to put on paper.

Honestly, the biggest thing I can say, is the trigger pull is damn gritty, and you should work on that if you have the ability. I'd disassemble the trigger assembly and go to town on it with a dremel and some polish. You'll also want to reinforce the front sight post by either replacing it with a metal post bedded in epoxy, or with my frame modification.

Else, for accuracy, a barrel and bucking combo would give you the best result. Maybe some new sights - the WE ones aren't much better than the TM ones, and they're the one place the actual Glock cheaps out on. Anything else is nice to have.

From my Experience its drop in, it just really depends on what barrel you are using. some barrels fit better than others but its essentially drop in. Ive had no issues.

Thing with TM units is that they have this little nub that prevents it from moving around too much, (TBH i have no idea what its purpose is) but it sometimes makes it hard to take the whole inner barrel assembly out but not impossible of course. (just an FYI)

I run an AIP in my Zev G34 build and it works great

IMO WE's best pistol is their Glock 17. I used to rock their HK3P line.

Ouch. I just picked mine up and was plinking with .28s and .32s which shot with ZERO issues nice and far. I was simply looking at getting a new hop up for durability over anything else.

If you don't need insane range, all you really need is just the bucking to be changed.

Inner barrel may help a little, but that's what your primary is for.

However, since you are ordering from X-Fire I assume for PDI, might aswell get the inner barrel too.
