Does the Transform4 from evike.com come with rails?
I am going to purchase a ICS CXP Transform4 from evike.com, but I am wondering if it comes with rails to add onto the side.
http://www.evike.com/products/48374 I have watched many unboxings and on most other sites it says it comes with 3 rails in the box, and I don't want to waste money buying rails if the gun comes with it. I think its more of a manufacturer kind of thing, the rails are included inside the box instead of the store adding them on, but evike does not explicitly say rails come with it and there is no rails on the photos. Thanks |

Why not ASK evike?
You can even CALL them. Also give yourself a bit of a slap for thinking about ordering from evike. Or don't and get a HUGE surprise when you get it delivered by ups. *Edit* If you scroll down you will see people asking the exact same question, with your answer.

I did ask evike but the person wasn't sure because it doesn't say on the website whether it does have rails or not.
And what kind of surprise are we talking about |

Take the cost of your gun, convert it to Canadian.
Divide the by half and add the taxes to the original full amount and that is your worst case scenario of extra money you will pay. UPS likes to nail you for almost half the cost of the item you bring over the border. Screw Evike. If anything look elsewhere...... the Asian shops are much better, look for one that starts for a "E" and ends with a "y". Or at the very least never ship with a courier service.

Oh we do hate you, just never felt like wasting the time to give you a user title :P

You will pay tax based on what the cbsa determines is the retail value of the item. So 13% of 300 or 400 bucks depending whers they look up the price.
plus duties or brokerage fees. i paid 60$ duties and taxes on a 15$ item. the only time ordering out of canada is good is when the dollar is near par or if you cannot find the item in country

299 USD to Canadian is $365, plus insane shipping and upfront costs when you get it. You're looking more like 500 bucks to ship it from America.

Rough pricing..
$299.00 * .77 (23% off Evike) = 230.23 USD Shipping about 35-40, so $38? 230.23+38.00 = 268.23USD = 326.94 CDN Duty and taxes, maybe around $60-100? Total: $386.94 - 426.94 and 2-4 weeks wait time. Canadian Pricing: $420.36 ish from the retailer you mentioned with 0 wait time. |

Just buy it from Mach1. Bio's rough pricing are usually accurate, but UPS can really mess with you. Bought an item for 140 dollars and they charged me a brokerage fee and taxes which equaled over 50% of the total cost of what I ordered.
And if anything goes wrong, you can return it to them..and you can get age verified possibly.

"bb bukakke" KING!

ups
35-50$ for brokering the import for you. depends on package size seemingly. the declared value for customs is generally the contents PLUS the cost of shipping, cause most shippers are dorks. converted to CAD 5%-7% duty depending on country of manufacture 13% hst on the entire value of that. take your USD price you paid at the US shop plus shipping... add 25-30% because the current exchange rates suck and your credit card will rape you at least 5% over the rate. Are you really saving anything right now crossborder shopping? Going to say no.

For just the gun itself yes it would be cheaper at mach1 but look at this.
320$ for the gun (23% doesnt cover ANY of the items in my shopping cart so don't worry about it) but it comes with a free 70$ credit for anything. I am getting a mid-cap mag pack for 50 USD$ for free with it, and my friend is paying 40 CAD for 3 of the mags which I will factor in later. This is the shoping cart with current prices: Transform4 Proline CXP 261 (the long version): 319 M100 and M95 Spring: 8.20 each (Can someone explain how much FPS I will get with both of these, I need an under 380 spring and under 350 spring, I think these will be good) 190r M4 Midcap mags: FREE with the gun promo Matrix 2x42 Red dot scope w/ rails: 36$ Total Cost in cart right now is 372$ Shipping is UPS Worldwide expidited (I can choose priority worldwide which isn't UPS, does that reduce the duties I will pay?) for 45$ Now we are at 417 USD Which is 506 CAD right now including the 5 midcap mags scope and 2 springs Minus 40$ from my friend is 466$, only 10$ more excluding duties. If duties only amounts to about 50 which I am expecting it is about equal for MUCH more stuff Or 450$ at Mach1 for just the gun. This many Midcaps will make it much over 500$ and I dont get the scope OR the springs. So I think evike is better IMO |

what everone is saying is that for the 40-50$ you might save (spoiler: you won't) , better to order in country and have the peace of mind that everything will get to you within a reasonable delay and not get seized by customs on the way.
