JAC MP5 - missing a sheet metal bracket

I just assembled my classic JAC MP5 after it sat for about 4 years +. It is missing a sheet metal bracket; so it doesn't fire. It does fire using a screwdriver to depress the trigger valve.

It's impressive: velocity, gun like sound and high bps (700 ish).

Does anyone have a spare bracket they could sell. I moved in the last year so i think its lost for good. Would anyone otherwise have the dimensions for this bracket. I think it allows the trigger to trip the valve.

Does the selector actually work on this airsoft? It indicates -safe, semi, 3rnd burst, and full auto.

I an also curious about magazines. Are they supposed spring loaded?

Thanks

PS: It's a noisy gun - unlike the quiet asashi sterling I sold.
