For the M4A1 - coming from WELL but out of the same manufac shops as UTG...to retail in the usa around $100-120usd - comes with bat, charger, full metal gear box...out of the box 330fps.
Should be released stateside late November. |

If this brand is compatible with TM, systema etc, this could very well be a good buy. At the US price, i would expected it to be around $300 CDN or so. That alone is quite appealing.

$300 CAD for a gun that sells for $100 USD is not a good buy. Yeah yeah I've heard all the excuses about licensing, taxes, duty, etc. However go to http://www.xe.com and look at what our dollar's worth these days. $200 CAD and now we're talkin!

Aside from the sticker and the slight gaps in the build...
It looks f'ckin... exactly like a TM ak-47.... externally anyways. How closely can you possibly copy something? Maybe TM gave up the old blueprints or something. "here, you can have them, we've got some sure-fire market stealers coming out next month anyways" _oh hey, and I just had a thought... UTG would be producing AK-47 magazines then, right? Compatible with TM? Any Lowcap buffs might be interested in buying them up if they're cheaper than Marui magazines... |
