Dump Pouch/Pistol on a Rigger Belt?

Been running a HSGI Suregrip Belt for a while but to make a lighter loadout I have moved the majority of the gear to my plate carrier.

All I plan on having still on my waist is a dump pouch (CSM New Dump Pouch) and my pistol (mounted on a RTI Duty Mount). My plan is to mount this equipment to my HSGI rigger belt.

In my case, would the rigger belt be the same belt I use to hold up my pants (ie threaded thru the pants belt loops)?

I personally use another belt for my pants and a Condor Tactical Belt for my dump pouch and pistol. I find it cumbersome to have the dump pouch looped through my pants belt and wanted easier access to remove my kit. Don't know if it's right but that's how I do it so far.

Works fine with my HSGI cobra belt when I don't want to use the suregrip.

I just thread the Cobra through belt loops, two pistol tacos via malice clips (when I want to run a pistol), and attach my condor dump pouch and serpa on a paddle mount (easy on easy off) afterwards.

at the very least I'd use a separate pistol or buckled riggers belt, rather than a standard slider/keeper riggers belt meant for pants.

Rigger belt are ment to be used as an ancor point for a safety line in veh. or aircraft.
Some company made some model that are stiffer to hold gear on it.

I would not use that. Because I like to be able to dump my gear and not lose my pants. On top of that, if your pouches are heavy, they will tug and twist your rigger belt and it will be uncortable or flapping around.

So I wear a rigger belt then a combat belt with my pouches mounted on it.

I personally run drop leg for pistol and another for mags and fold away dump pouch(I rarely use the pouch) it's fine on the leg if you aren't running a bunch or rarely using it. I've put it on my belt for times when I think I might use it a lot in a game. I've gone away from any kind of vest or upper body gear as I find it too cumbersome. As long as the belt fits through loops on your pants you shouldn't need to use 2 belts. Just try to keep load even one side to the other so it doesn't pull too much on one side.

I don't even use my dump pouch anymore, faster for me to shove them back into my tacos then to lug them around in my dump pouch.

I run a belt through my pants, and attach all my gear to that, generally. I run fairly lightly, but the pant loos can help keep everything where it's supposed to be when running a slicker rigger's belt. I fit a pistol, dump pouch, mag pouches on it fairly comfortably.

I use a dump pouch as a 3rd hand...stuff doesn't stay i there long..only long enough for me to get to a quiet spot put them back in mag pouches and move stuff around.

Speaking of dump pouches. I wasn't in love with a regular sized dump pouch flapping around behind me or anywhere else for that matter, so I switched to a tiny little utility dump pouch at my back centre on my belt (which I use as a just in case / backup / stick whatever in there pouch) and went out and bought a condor drop leg dump pouch. Thought I'd hate it but I kinda like it... Right up there where I need it, opposite leg of my pistol, holds a ton of mags, has a nice trap door feature, quick detach buckles incase I want to not use it for a game or take it off between games fast, and if I need to I can still use the other small dump pouch behind me.

Just my current thinking so thought I'd share. Will post a picture later.

Last game day I went with the rigger belt outside my pants belt, just to make removing and donning the equipment easier.

Worked fairly well with no complaint. Sure was lighter/cooler then the full war belt.
