Suggestions?

So, after hours of work I've finished putting on all this crap on my CYMA AKS-74U and this is the final product:

resized_P1060871.JPG

resized_P1060872.JPG

resized_P1060867.JPG

and here are all the things that have been added to it
Kill flash "mesh"
Red dot
Scope mount
Hand guard
Grip
Gearbox (was replaced with one from LCT)
Air Nozzle
Hop up bucking (replaced with generic hopup bucking)

So I'm now bored and want to know what else I should do to this poor gun :P
I'm happy with the FPS at around 380...any suggestions for other parts? like maybe a railed handguard instead of a plastic ribbed one?

willing to perform services in a dark alley that may or may not leave you satisfied for a title. GFE = 1, looks = 2, BBFS for an extra $50.

Tie a rope to your car, then the gun and then go run your daily errands, rinse and repeat if so desired.

but seriously, nice build very practical.

Only thing I would do is perhaps suppress it, and replace the Tasco sight with something that at least looks real. It would be a T1 for me

In no particular order:

PTS x Palm AK grip
Midwest Industries AK Rail
Aimpoint T1 clone

Maybe get rid of that crazy trumpet flash-hider for an FSC47 or something like that and also that odd electrical tape around the sling loop.

hehe, I forgot to add that on! I already have a VLTOR silencer (basically this one http://airsoft-club.com/shop/externa...4mm-ccw-hy-146)

As said above "Done" and although it looks like a Tasco sight it isn't..it came in a generic box and the instructions had no name brand on them..but it works great! and the thing is built like a tank! Now if I could get my hands on a Kobra sight then I'd be all over that but.. yeah

Ok, I get the flat or bridge hopup but why the tight bore? I've always just found them harder to clean and more picky with ammo while giving only slightly better FPS and no better accuracy.

Instructions unclear, now my car and my gun have a tail and my thumb is stuck in ceiling fan.

Thanks!

that all depends on what barrel you have, if it has a nice smooth and even bore then a tight bore wont be a huge improvement, but a good barrel in most cases is much better than stock for accuracy, i think the only really good stock barrel i had was the one in my TM vsr10, but it was aluminium so i swapped it out. Good barrels arent that picky ammo wise, provided you use good ammo (like bbbastard, madbull, ksc perfect ect..) as for cleaning, you should clesn yer barrel before you install it and regularly after that, every few games or so depending how much ammo you go through.
and the towing it behind yer car is just to weather it/beat it up so it looks like a well loved ak lol

I like your thinking comrade, but I think I like my ergo grip better (I have a similar grip in black) and I'm sure that that ak rail would need some major mods to fit on an AKS 74U due to the shorter bottom guard

and that tape stops it from sounding like a cowbell when I run

That makes sense, though I think the previous owner may have already upgraded the barrel which would explain why the tight bore didn't change much. Well the one I tried might have had a factory flaw because it hated my KSC and Madbull bbs...As for cleaning: I always do! it's just a habit now.

Well the only upgrade that hasn't been gamed is the sight, so I guess I'll decide after that.
