battery question

right now im using a 8.4v 600mah battery on my stock aug and wondor if i should use a 9.6v 1700mah instead? will i get more rof out of the 9.6? will i lose fps with the 9.6? and will my harm my internals?

IT will harm your internals, no your FPS will not be lower nand yes you will get more ROF

You are new, so you probably have not used the SEARCH option yet, or taken enough time to read this website.

Your questions are answered already, please make the same effort to find and read them that the writers put into writing them.

Your gun is Designed for 8.4 volts... think about it.

the rof for my aug with 8.4v 600mah was 10 rds/sec. i took a 9.6 1100mah battery and cut away the plastic shrink wrap around the last 2 cells and folded them over onto the remaining cells (some delicate soldering may be involved depeding on whether the battery's foil bussing is long enough) so that the battery was now shaped like the letter p. it works great with an increased rof of 13 rds/sec. i have had no breakdowns yet of this gun in 2 years, but then again i've only put about 5000 rds thru it. if anything is going to give up it will be the sector gear in the version 3 box. that is the weak point.
