tri comtac iii help.
just picked up the headset today, and i've run into somewhat of a conundrum.
1. the PTT cords seem to be permanent. does anyone know of a way to remove one of them so as not to have this extra cable to worry about? IMG00509-20140530-1712.jpg 2. also i've bought a pair of arc adapters for my helmet, and i was wondering if there was a way to remove the cord connecting the headphones together from the headstrap WITHOUT cutting through the leather. IMG00511-20140530-1713.jpg thanks! |

I'm having the same issue with my Z-Tactical versions.
How did you manage to get them onto the ARC adaptors?

i ended up cutting through the leather strap securing the cord to the headband. the headphones are easily detachable from the arms.
to get the arc adapters onto the helmet was a little difficult. really had to muscle it onto the rail, as they are not an exact fit. once you do get them mounted, they're pretty solid and won't budge. |
