FAST helmet, Maritime; rails w/ Sordin adapters question

Has anyone used the ear pro adapters with the FAST helmet (preferably Maritime, but input from the regular version is also welcome)?

I currently have the TMC Air Frame helmet and the rails don't seem quite to spec: specifically with the MSA Sordin adapters (like these), they don't seem to fit the rail properly and keep popping out with the slightest pressure (like pulling them away from the ear to rest them on the helmet).

I wasn't sure if it was the adapters or the rail, but after trying them on a MICH with ARC rails (rock solid) the problem seems to be the rails on the AF. Getting real Crye rails will cost as much as getting a new helmet, and I'd prefer going the FAST route at the point. But as I shop around, I'm seeing several different makes (namely Emerson and FMA that I "trust") but I'm left wondering if the rails will seat the ear pro adapters properly or if I'll be back at square one.

I can't really tell from pictures (like the one above) how well they're seated on the rails. So has anyone used them? Are they okay?

Also how's the sizing on the FAST helmets and is one make nicer or worse than the others?

Had the repro rails on an Emerson Fast
I wouldn't say it was as bad as you described with yours but not Rock Solid

I recall it was pretty hard putting them on "correctly" so they wouldn't pop though

Once in place though it was quite useable, although not with 100% confidence; enough for repro stuff I'd say
I guess your mile may vary

The real Crye Peltor adapters fit perfectly on an Ops-Core helmet. I installed them just last night to test.

Clones, your mileage may vary. The Crye adapters cost $8 for the set. And I installed Sordins into them no problem.
