Looking for reliable SG550 or SG553

Ya-harrow!

My name is Switches and I like the design of the SG55X series of weapons.

From the looks of it, the SG553 from G&G costs $400 and I don't have the money for it. Is there any way to purchase one from G&G for around $300?

As for the SG550, I'm looking for the JG SG550 but no store in Canada seems to sell it. Can someone help me find a store that sells one?

The only way you will find one of those guns in that range is to get age verified on this site by meeting up with your local age verifier and to browse the classifieds on this site.

Until you are verified, we can not help you find or get airsoft guns.
I would suggest if your budget is only $300, think of getting an m4 or an ak47 as you can get the guns cheaper, and mags/accessories are more abundant and lower in price. If you are set on the sig, save up for a while and get the g&g. Keep in mind that the gun is not the only item you need, batteries, magazines, BBs, eye protection, and decent boots are all also going to be needed.

Sushicake was inactive a week ago, so I couldn't get my age verified. Apart from that, I've been playing airsoft since last August. I recently got a PTS Masada (I now have 2 guns), and I'm looking forward to get a SG55X some time in the near future. That's really it.

You can get one used, but seriously G&G is miles ahead of any other sig out there. totally worth the extra cash.

if u fill out yer profile so folks know wht area yer in it would.make it easier to get a verifier.
like if yer near mississauga you can just go to army issue and get verified

I was also thinking about getting a better SIG than my current one. How is the ICS SIG 551/552? From the price I would guess it is not as good as the G&G, but...

Not really sure what you're saying, but I'm going to bother the rest of the age verifiers right now via PM. I wonder what's taking them so long to reply. Maybe they're just inactive on the forums, I guess.

Apart from that, I read a review for the JG SG550. The accuracy seems terrible, therefore I won't get it.

I'll most likely purchase the G&G SG553 from Toronto Airsoft when I have the money.

Putting "upper GTA" is the best I can do. I'm not too comfortable with using my real location, because I use the same username on other websites as well. I'm a bit paranoid, sorry.

Apart from that, which is supposedly better to handle. SG550 or the SG553? Is the 550 significantly heavier than the 553? Or is there really no difference in weight and maneuverability?

The reason why I fell in love with SG550 is because I really liked the character by the same name from the anime, Upotte!

As for age verification, I'm going to see if I can contact Frank from Toronto Airsoft. I hope he's here this Saturday.

If there are retailers in your area that age verify or might age verify, just call the store and ask.

Go to TA and get AV'ed, or pop a message to Duy at AirsoftParts. I often meet him in Markham.
