Fitting question - King Arms Reinforced Pistol Grip on G&G GR16

I want to change my pistol grip to a King Arms Reinforced Pistol Grip. I was comparing the pistol grip on my G&G GR16 Carbine to my brothers TM M16A2 and I noticed the upper squarish part of the pistol grip on my G&G GR16 isn't flush with the trigger guard like the TM M16A2.

I am wondering if anyone had done this mod to their G&G GR16 if there was any problems with the King Arms grip not fitting properly? I am concerned because as you can see from the link I have provided the King Arms upper grip extends abit more into the trigger guard area which I am afraid will leave a gap.

Don't worry about it being flush I have the KA grip on a Guarder Metal body and its not flush. It bothered me at first but I got over it. I think the original TM grip was not as fat as the KA one.
