Metal AK Receivers?
Well last week I purchased a Cybergun Kalashnikov Tactical AEG and it's a cool gun. But after trying it and thinking of upgrades/mods I should do, I thought a metal receiver would be nice.
But can us Canadians buy them? I know lots of airsoft websites sell them, some even offer international shipping, but would our customs let it through? And if not, could I drive over to the US and bring it back with me? Thanks!! |

Sadly you won't be able to import any receivers, pistol of aeg into Canada thanks to our stupid laws. You're stuck paying the ridiculous price most sites here have them posted as

It's a shame how you can buy pretty much any kind of m4/m16 receiver with trades from retailers in Canada
But there is zero aftermarket metal ak receivers available, and even if you found them they'd be big bucks |

I should get verified, but are there any other options to get a receiver? Do you think that local airsoft stores could order them?
Also, what if the stock one cracked? Where could I get a plastic receiver to replace it? |

Can't tell you where to get a receiver until you get AV'd, but There are Canadian retailers with tinted plastic ak lowers but I wouldnt bother replacing plastic with plastic
If it breaks call it a loss, harvest any useable parts and get A new metal bodied ak Cyma makes great inexpensive starter ak that won't break the bank and is a good upgrade platform |

trust me, it's less expensive to just buy a new gun that has a metal receiver

I'm not asking to buy one on here, I mean just regular Canadian airsoft websites. I don't think they would take the AV on this forum as proof of age. EDIT: There are a few retail stores in my area that I will call about this. They seem to always have US quality guns, so it's worth a try. Last edited by trekking95; April 14th, 2014 at 00:45.. |

The rules of this forum state that the discussion of where to by airsoft guns with non age verified members is prohibited. Sorry. Dems da rulez.

It is just a reassurance that you are, and many in country retailers are out of stock and restrict to over eighteen and up, thus forcing you to buy from the classified, plus it is a great idea for the long term
And what is a US quality gun?

Solid color with more metal parts. Most places here sell the clear plastic toy level guns. |

If that's all the shops in your area have then they suck, you can get a full metal entry level ak For around $220

Clearly the 2-3 good shops aren't that good
Fill in your location so we can help you find an age verifier |
