VLTOR SCAR M4 Stock Adapter

There is a very dead thread that touched on this, but I didn't want to necro: I am curious to know if anyone has given this a shot on a WE SCAR-L as of yet?

Kos-Mos, beating the almost-dead horse; any idea regarding compatibility with WE SCARs?

Dunno and don't plan on finding out. I like my SCAR the way it is.

VLTOR SCAR M4 Stock Adapter

I plan to get one from http://www.airsoftoutletnw.com/airso...-stock-adapter
I don't like the way the Scar-L pushes on my hand when folded. The G39C I had didn't do that. Anyway, if I'm not happy with it, I'm sure someone on Kijiji will take it off my hands.

After some searching I've decided to go with the Angry Gun stock adapter. Main reason being I can add a MILSPEC buffer tube and a Magpul ASAP plate. Boom bitches.

Yeah, or you can go to Evike and get 20% off..

Just saying.

http://www.evike.com/products/41624/

Also seems to work on AEG's

Quote:
Bought this awhile back... Fits on my VFC Scar-H. It needs a GBB buffer tube to work with any AEG ret. stock or any GBB fixed stock. The fitment is excellent with no wobble or other mods needed. It gives a unique look to the scar! Look up Vltor Scar for reference.

After some review of current ASAp plates I have installed on my AEG and GBB ARs I likely wouldn't be able to use an ASAP with the Angry Gun adapter without some serious modification.

There are "tab" on either side that act as seating lips around the edges of the AR receiver. Feel silly for missing that..

Would have to grind quite a bit off and that might ruin the stability of the plate..

I'm wondering; I know the ones on the side are supposed to be, but is that a QD sling swivel hole directly underneath the buffer tube?

It is not, it just a hole for the screw to screw it in the back of the gun to secure it. I have this adapter for my Echo1 scar

Ghhhheeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

Well, I guess I'll have to get the Angry Gun adapter to do that heavy grinding on the ASAP plate and hope it holds.

:-O

That is perfect. I'll have to go onto the site later to check out cost+shipping.

Thanks Short Round. This is why I like ASC.
